Velskov is the first modern native-forest farm in Auckland, New Zealand.
Our food philosophy is GastroGeography, the taste of place.
We promote sustainable agroforestry and environmental protection through regenerative forest farming, ecosystem conservation, and biodiversity initiatives.
Our name Velskov, derived from Danish, refers to the well-being and prosperity of a forest—well + forest.
Together with our partners, we strive to ensure the well-being of all of New Zealand's forests and aim to pioneer Kin-Value, a new method of forest farming to share with the world.
Velskov is dedicated to growing Aotearoa New Zealand's native forests by rekindling our connection with nature.
Our experiences spread knowledge of the local environment and promote the sustainable use of its resources.
Our off-grid venue is available for individual visitors, the Bush Boardroom for corporations and small groups of up to 20 people.
The farm team hosts Māori dining experiences and Nourishing Nature days for visitors.
Every farm visit plays a vital role in unlocking the power of regenerative climate action by focusing on restoring the original forest, an abundant, biodiverse ecosystem.
